Silver Spoon NYC is the brainchild of long-time party expert and graduate, Alexandra Don. As a Marymount Manhattan College graduate with a major in art history and concentration in engligh creative writing and business Don was compelled to combine her talents and create a unique and creative business. What began largely as a favor to friends as they struggled to plan their own birthdays and college graduations, evolved into a full-fledge commitment to proper celebration. It was the natural progression for a woman devoted to and consumed by fun...even the teddy bears leaving her childhood tea parties were jazzed for an encore.

After years of honing her professional skills at a top-tier event planning firm in Manhattan and spearheading non-profit charity events for both The Ronald McDonald House and The New York Tourettes Syndrome Association, Don was poised to combine her fondness for children, organization, and well, parties. Recognizing the need for a more creative motif than "Dora the Explorer" napkins and second-rate clowns, Don launched Silver Spoon NYC, a professional answer to the well-intentioned but busy parent.

By creating great themes, venues, perfect cuisine and entertainment, Silver Spoon has quickly established itself as Gotham's premiere children's event planning agency. Birthdays, Bar Mitzvahs, Sweet 16’s, and Confirmations...Elmo has left the building and pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey is rolling over in its grave.
